On Thursday, 21st of September, I along with a third of the year went over to the Pavilion. We were split into 5 different groups and we played a game called "The Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine." Each team had to go to the gold mine and spend as much time as possible before coming back to Apache Junction. I learned a lot from the game and had a lot of fun while doing so. I learned that we should have planned how long we would stay at the mine at the very beginning of the game. I also learned about the importance of team-work and communication. A team that worked together with another team could do a lot better than a team that works alone. All of this doesn't just apply to the game but also has applications in life.
